I always fill the tank up right before I put it...

I always fill the tank up right before I put it in the water. From that points on, I turn the engine on and ride for minimum 45 minutes. So I can't ower filet even if a want to. But like Mike say...

I have one just like yours but 2001 and is 50 gallons tank. And no, it's not a rip off.
