Another reason to ALWAYs run your blowers prior to starting engines. I've gone so far as opening the engine hatches to vent on hot days.

Side note, I've seen these cool shock or stabilizing pads...

While not in use, I bungy mine to the large shelve over my waste tank starboard side engine compartment.
When at anchor or tied to bouy I typically run it on the swim platform for short period only.
