if your going to consistantly run in salt..then yes..add the freshwater cooling system....do a full up system ....
however if your mostly lake..an occasional run in salt...then just flush and use...

there is a company locally in the Seattle area...

there is a company locally in the Seattle area that will build a custom swim step and install it for a nominal cost...I'll see if I can find the website for you...
