I did have to remove it. It was worth it though, I cleaned out the oil reservoir that had metal shaving sediment. I also repainted the bracket since it’s prone to rust because it’s not stainless...

Mine leaked where the metal solenoid assembly attaches to the plastic reservoir. I replaced the big oring that is sandwiched and it solved that leak.
