Note; that is the anchor that came with the boat when I purchased it, what type or size anchor is standard for this boat?

Correct way to stow anchor

I have a 1999 Maxum 2400 SCR. The anchor has a chain, but I cannot seem to get it tight enough so that it does not move when stowed under the bow of the boat. Attached are some pictures, thanks....
