How many of you guys/gals boat in the ocean with a 2300 SC/R? How well would you say it takes 2-4 footers? I've owned a 99 2300SC for about 12yrs and will soon have the option of running in the sound...

Cuddy hatch shock

1999 2300SC Cuddy cabin hatch door has a manual shock that holds the hatch open by raising then tightening a wing nut to lock the shock in place and I would like to know if anyone has ever replaced...

I have got a 1999 2300 SC with 7.4L and Bravo III...

I have got a 1999 2300 SC with 7.4L and Bravo III and she will run right at 60mph. I have Bennett manual tabs on mine and highly recommend them, absolute day and night difference without them.

X2 for ON/OFF that stuff is amazing. As Shrew said make sure you wax after using and if you have a painted or aluminum trailer make sure to cover with plastic first.

Thought I would throw my .02 cents in concerning trim tabs, make sure you do NOT have trim tabs all the way down when operating in reverse around docks etc. as they are meant to drag not plow through...

Man you are KILLING me, by the pictures your boat looks to be a 2300SC...I just put a new 7.4 MPI, 375HP in my 2300SC last summer and just when the wallet ran empty I was ready for the Corsa exhaust....
