A long time ago I had one that wouldn't come off. Ended up cutting the end off with a pair of tin snips and using a pair of vice grips to grab the exposed metal and a hammer to whack the vice grips....

I spun the hub and bent the prop. Didn't think it was that big of a hit. :( It was low speed. I know guys who go through props with every full tank of gas (not really), and they don't break gears...
