Mike,

For item #2, use the rebuild kit. The joker valve has no role with water draw. I go through a rebuild kit once every three years or so. The issue is mostly keeping O rings lubed and in...

Re: Shower/head sump pump

The pump is under the fridge in the 2400 scr (at least that where its at on mine). The floor drain and hosing is a pain to work (lack of space).

Re: 12V DC wiring for 2 battery system with battery switch

You have the correct idea, I ran my windlass direct to a battery because I don't consider it critical and if in BOTH then it has access to other battery.

Rather than worry about resistance, I look...

Re: A/C Unit on 1997 Maxum 2400 SCR

Re: 2400 scr trailering

That 5K is weight of the boat dry. Add 70 gallons of fuel, 13 Gallons of water, gear, extra batteries, etc, and you have a weight close to 7K. I tow with an older Tundra with 7.8K rated capacity.

Re: Gotta Love new Gadgets!

On my 2001 2400scr, I mounted the transducer between outdrive and tab, closer to outdrive, on starboard. I ran my wiring up similar to SP's. I mounted the head unit on dash left of Tach/Speedo. I...
