As Mike says, remove the exhaust manifold. You will still need to work by braille some, but you can do it without taking the motor out.

The rubber eraser wheels work great. I have done several Seadoos with them with great results.
You will still have to deal with ghosting, but that is a different animal.

Just picked up a new toy. Motor is seized and upholstery is trashed, but I have dealt with worse. Planning to swap the 4.3 for a 5.0 or 5.7.
