Removing the fuel tank

Today I cut out the storage compartment floor above the fuel tank, so I could lift it up and over engine mount pads on stringers. Using a small come along I pulled tank out into engine bay. It didn’t...

Leaking fuel tank

Hi all,
My 97 2300sc has a leaking fuel tank.
I did a quick search but didn’t find anything pertaining to my particular model.
The engine is out, and I was wondering if anyone has done this job...

Raw Water Pickup

Hey all, I have a 1997 2300sc. I want to drill a hole for a raw water intake. I'm going to use this for a bait well / wash down. I'm looking for any advice from someone who may have done this before....

I have changed the fuel filter, and also remove the fuel tank check valve for inspection.
The rpm change is audibly and physically noticeable, and my max mph drops from 45-41 measured using gps....

I recently purchased, a well maintained, 1997 sc2300 under 500 hrs.
260 5.7 weber carb 9781s
Runs great, except under wot rpm fluctuates from 4800 down to aprox 4000.

Drain fittings

I am also looking for these fittings for my 1998 2300 sc.
All i can find is 5/8, and i don't really want to make the holes larger.
Some one made them.
If i find them Ill let you know.

New member old boat

Hey every one.
Recently purchased a new to me, 1998 2300sc, 5.7, 500hrs. This is my fist boat.
Shes in good condition, always kept in fresh water.
