I currently own a 2000, 3000 SCR with twin 5.0L merc outdrives with Bravo ll's. I get about 40 MPH as a top end speed with a nice cruising speed around 28-32 MPH.

Hot chartplotter

I recently installed a new Lowrance HDS 7 Gen 2 touch chartplotter. After firing it up, the touch screen became hot to the touch and stayed hot. Does this sound unusual.
