Refrigerator on DC power
The refrigerator can run on DC but I would not make a habit of it. The system should be run with the generator if you plan on having it on for any length of time.

Stereo FM/AM Antennas
Thanks for the information on the FM/AM stereo (tuner) antenna. I ended up with a small antenna cable that picked up the local stations without any problems. I like cheap solutions that work out.
