Thanks for the help guys, next time I will fill it just as u both explained. I think I can pump some of the fluid back out of the reservoir and then fill from the bottom plug some more until it comes...

Does anyone know the proper way to refill a Merc Bravo .3 Outdrive with the reservoir? I filled it from the bottom drain plug leaving the top plug in the
out. Filled it with gear lube til it came...
