Re: 1800SR3 + Tower

That looks very nice indeed. Good choice (and good pic too).

Re: Ski Hook

Interesting that you referred to the Roswell tower. That is the exact one I was looking at getting, in part as they are a local product (manufactured here in Edmonton). I take it you are happy with...

Re: High 5 prop pitch

Well, I got a very good chance to test out the new prop, and I am somewhat ambivalent. A drop of top end speed of about 5 mph, which is fine, but not much of a difference in low end grunt. Yes,...

Ski Hook

The ski hook on the transom of my '06 1900 SR3 spontaneously loosened then came free (not while in use, thank goodness). Has anybody else had to deal with this? It seems impossible to reach the...

Re: High 5 prop pitch

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks. We are taking the boat out for a boating holiday in southern B.C.

Re: Feeling pretty good, and... nervous

Also from Edmonton. A 1900 SR3 ('06). Was my first boat too. Which means I've made every mistake in the book (including the boneheaded drain plug error), but I've learned a lot in the last few...

High 5 prop pitch

I've got an 1900 SR3 with Merc 5.0/Alpha One. Looking at getting a High 5 prop for better hole shot. Have found one for sale for a good price but is a 19 pitch. But I'm not sure what would be an...

As a fellow Maxum owner from Alberta, I know exactly what you are talking about. The trouble is that dealer sells a very large number of Maxums throughout western Canada. Brunswick likes them.

I approach the high price of gas by equating it to a ski lift ticket. When I spend a day in the mountains with the family, it invariably means a $200 to $300 hit. By comparison, a day out on the...

I am envious. All I see is ice up here. Mind you we are off to Cuba in a week, so relief is in sight, albeit only temporary.

I tried to do the same when I purchased the boat but the dealer was oddly uncooperative. At the time I thought they were simply too busy (they had a very busy showroom that day), but I've returned...

Thks - perhaps what I will do is track down another Maxum dealer (one not associated with the local chain).

Bow Filler Cushion

Any suggestions where I might order a bow filler cushion for my 2006 1900 SR3? The local dealer is of no assistance.
