I have a 2001 2300SC Maxum,think a 1500 Avalanche will tow it ok or am I going to need a 2500?

Can I tow a 2300 sc maxum with a 8 cyl. Toyota 4 runner? it's rated for 6500 lbs.

Thinking about buying one next week but have to be able to tow it.

I'llfind out more on it next week after a test drive. It looks like new, motor, seats,carpet, gel, even the trailer. I has been taken care of I think.

New boater here, this site is great!
I don't know anything about Maxum but the "Control Max" sounds cool. Are Maxum parts still available? Think a Honda Ridgeline will tow it ok.
