Hi all,

Has anyone got down the best Starting procedure for these boats/engines?

Been told to pump throttle 3 times in neutral, then push the throttle to quarter position and crack the **** out...

I'm getting conflicting advice about battery use on the boat. I am in a marina with no electrics so cannot charge battery unless I remove it from the boat.

I'm a new Maxum 2500 SCR owner. Noticed an alarm starts sounding when I get up to cruising speed 20-25knts, then stops when I slow down to 10-20knts.
