I found a Bomars on ebay that worked - exactly...

I found a Bomars on ebay that worked - exactly the same but for the 2 central hinges that were missing.

I did the ground test - the gauge works properly...

I did the ground test - the gauge works properly - now to replace / inspect do I need to empty the tank? is it wort to inspect the sender or is better to order a new one.

What should be the troubleshooting procedure and where the sender is located?
