I have a 1700 xr , 70 hp ob and trailer, and use a 2014 Ford Edge limited with 3.5 to pull it. Edge is rated at 3500 lbs towing and has no issue at all with any hills I have seen. But I live in...

The seats sit on plywood and have rails on either side to glide them in. By rocking back and forth they were removed. Best now to look at installing a pedestal seat.
