Default 1991 maxum 2300 scr manual

This is my second boat. I owned a 1994 bayliner capri . New to boating altogether. Looking for the owner manual . I am unable to locate documents here. Thanks

Scroll to the top of any page and you will see a blue bar with tabs:

HOME FORUM PHOTS DOCUMENTS

'click' on the DOCUMENTS tab

'click' on MAXUM BOATS

'click' on the appropriate year*

*NOTE: we don't have any 1991 manuals, however there is a 1992 manual.

Also, see this sticky at the top of the Maxum General tab:

If you review the link to the sticky I provided, you'll understand why the manual is useless. It is a generic manual for all models of that class. It might have a diagram of the electrical harness, but honestly it isn't necessary.

If you don't know how to trace out and troubleshoot electrical problems, then the manual won't help you. If you do know how to trace out and troubleshoot electrical then you don't need the manual.

Maxum like ALL boat manufacturers only build the hull and the deck then marry the two together and install 3rd party parts.

The fixation on OEM parts and manuals come for the automotive world and don't apply to boats.

Manuals will be a collection of the OEM manuals for the various devices (e.g. Pumps, Head, fridge, battery charger, stereo, microwave, trim tabs, etc. The engine and drive manuals come from Mercruiser.

The parts will be things like

Windshield: Taylor
Head: Jabsco
Fridge: Norcold
Cleats: Perko
Lights: Perko
Trim Tabs: Bennet
Engine: Mercruiser
Outdrive: Mercruiser
Faucets: Whale
Swim Ladder: Windline
Steering Wheel: Edson
Table Posts: Todd Industries
Throttle: Quicksilver or Mercruiser

I've never had difficulty finding a part. The exact part, maybe not. Sometimes you need to replace all to replace one to get everything to match. Sometimes a little retrofitting or fabrication is required.
