Default Who's coming out of the pool on the east coast?

Since I'm in a canel tied to a bulk head, I'm just going to watch the neighors and let it float around.

The area dose flood, but not over the bulk heads, so I check the lines.

What your plan?

I'm on the south coast of Long Island, pulled out my 3200 scr yesterday. Its on blocks at the marina, but close to the street as opposed to the slips. I did post an thread about to cover the boat or not, see http://www.maxumownersclub.com/forum...g-cover-or-not. I'll see if the cost and effort paid off or not come monday.

I am staying put
I am inland on a lake though

I was more concerned with the earthquake we had the other day. That was centered about 5 miles from where my boats sits, and really close to the North Anna Nuclear Power Plant

Mine is always out - stays on its trailer at the marina with the cover on.

Went down this morning to put the transom to trailer staps on it and to ensure the cover was tight. There were a lot of boats still in the water but many people opted to pull theirs 3 dozen I'd say.

As of this writing all we've gotten is mostly light rain and the wind is just now starting to kick up. Tropical storm warning - not hurricane warning.

yes, the storm is down graded again, to a tropic storm with 6' to 8' over high tie, which is 8am tomorrow.

On my bulk head, i nailed 8' boards up to hold the boat in the canel, like a tall fence.

I have aft line, two spring line, bow line, and fowards bow center cleat, stright east 30' to neigbor dock for storm aliment.

Also, anchor is toss out opposite of the bulk head.

Out drive is trailer up, all canvas is on, I figure I rather rip $300 of canvas, then have 12 hour of rain @ 2" hour.

Boat is plugged to shore power as long as we have power.

Tied some ropes around the canvas.....

post game wrap up on Monday.... stay tune....

7:30am high tide and boat is where i parked it!.... all canvas intacked.

Water is 24" over the bulk head and rising with the storm surge.

The fowards bow center cleat, straight east 30' to neigbor dock for storm aliment did a good job keeping it pointed into the wind.
