Default Weight of Boat

I own a 1996 Maxum 2300 SC with the 5.7L MerCruiser. I am looking for an accurate weight of the boat. I am considering purchasing a new tow SUV and wnat to make sure I have enough towing power.

The dry weight is listed at 4700lbs. However, boat manufactures are notorious for greatly understating the weights of their products.
