Default Vinyl Cockpit Upholstery

Replacement cockpit vinyl and seating parts are no longer available from dealers since the demise of Maxum. I have found a good source for replacement vinyl "skins" for Maxum cockpit upholstery and seating:

Canvas Plus, 22510 128th Dr. N.E., Arlington WA 98223. Phone: 360-435-0932. Contact person: Kim Reitz

Kim has original factory patterns for the cockpit upholstery for most Maxum models, and can get matching original color vinyl. She has made two new seat "skins" for my 2005 3700SY, and the work was excellent. On my seat covers, the grey "piping" or welting between the panels was no longer available in the original factory color, so I had to find the closest matching color online elsewhere. I then sent it to Kim, and she made the skins using that piping.

For the two largest cockpit skins on my boat, one was about $150, the other $175. Obviously, cost will depend on the size and complexity of the item.

Good Info to know. Makes sense that they would be in Arlington. I'm from the Pacific NW myself. The prices seem reasonable.
