Default transom seat & sterndrive

I picked up a 2003 2900 6.2/Bravo 3

I'm looking for a transom seat and the "side" seat if anyone has any...they were stolen.

The sterndrive tag is gone and no serial number can be seen in the usual spots. Any ideas? Factory data? Anything to get the serial number range or SN will be helpful.

Welcome aboard

for the seats you will need to either make them yourself and buy skins from CanvasPlus who has the original patterns for have a local canvas shop make them.

Is the cowl missing from the engine as it should have the serial number of the drive on it? If you go to Mercruiser part WEB site and search for your year it will give you a serial number range that was used for that time frame.

Sterndrive tag? Serial Number? Are you looking for he serial number for the engine, outdrive, or the HIN (Hull ID Number) for the boat itself?

Any canvas shop can make new seats for you. It's just a plywood base, marine upholstery padding and marine vinyl. There are no 'replacement' seats out there. You're going to need to fabricate them or have them fabricated.

Thanks for the replies.

I was hoping to find drop in seats...a long shot, but figured I'd ask.

I've got the original paperwork for most of the components...from fridge to range to engine, but the tag on the outdrive is gone. I checked all the specified areas for stampings and none are visible.

I'm just trying to establish the date range for internals & doing a sand, fill & repaint on the drive. Yoke seal as well...pain.

I'll hit the merc site and poke around there.
