Default timing marks

I can see the marks on the damper pulley but where is the pointer cant find one only a pulley bracket 2002 5.7L any ideas thanks

I am not sure about the 2002 version but I have 1999 vintage 5.7's and there is not really a pointer with degrees displayed as you would find on an automotive version of the engine. There is just one small bracket with one notch that represents 10 degree BTDC which is the stock setting for the engine. It is mounted to the timing chain cover in the same location you would find on a car engine.
