Tables - Maxum Boat Owners Club

As you can see in the picture this is one of the corian tables that I have for sale. One is a 30" oval weighing 28 lbs and a second oval table 34" weighing 34 ilbs. The weight is very rough. Me standing on the bathroom scale. Takes a 2 1/4 stem.

First question is what do you think these tables are worth? I called the Las Vegas Maxum dealer and talked to Earl. He is telling me around $1800.00. I fell off my chair. I still did not get an answer if that was for both of them or just one. I have a website member who is wanting to purchase the tables. I don't want to give them away but I do want to sell them at a fair price.

Second question is how or where to shipping them. I have not called UPS yet. I know I will have to spent some money on the wrapping these tables up and the buyer is going to spent a bundle getting them to their doorstep no matter who does it.

So follow maxum owners......your suggestion and comments..........please

how much material do you have into a table...how much time in each table..and what are your hourly rates for your labor...that should total out your table costs plus a % for profit...usually between 5-15% profit.....then add shipping and taxes....

looks like a nice table...now if you cut in 4 cup holders....not thru holes...just some dents to hold a cup from sliding...
that would be nice..

Bottoms up !! Yes...... came with the boat...... made my Maxum. We don't use them.......been in the garage for a couple of years. I have a chance to sell them. I am trying to sell them before my wife tells me not to. Don't have a clue what to ask for them?

there was a maxum 2800 scr dinette table top of craigs list for over six months new in the box, and they could not get $100 for it.

Really, how offen dose a table top go bad, or fall off the boat?

just 35lbs of weight to drag in the water.....

Honestly, I think they're worth more than $100, but $1800 seems a bit on the high side. If it's actually Corian, then go into any home store (Lowe's, Home Depot) and see what they're getting per square for a corian counter top. Then compare that cost to the cost per sq. of the same counter installed. since this is an odd shape, I would bet the cost installed per sq. would be about the same as the table squared. since it's oval, calculate the size as a square, then muliply by the cost of materials and installation per sq. and that should be fairly close to the value of the table.
