Default Seat removing

I have removed most of my seats for a upholstery replacement, but not figured out how to remove the two backs, Its a 1998 Maxum 2700SCR. Any words of advise I will take,

Well if you can't see a connection from the topside is probably down underneath. A couple screws through the fiberglass from underneath the engine compartment or the lazarette on the top transom may be what is holding it down.

This can be a real treasure hunt sometime! Good luck

There is a post somewhere on the site on the subject. It may have been on a 3000 - 3300, but got to believe they would be similar. I have removed backs on other brands and there were just a couple screws and then the rest were like clips that the seat hung on.

In that post I believe the bolts came through into the mid berth ceiling.

Below is a cut and paste of a response on one of the threads regarding the seat back removal on a 2800. This is for the most part what I experienced on the Monterey and Glastron as well.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Those back rests are mounted on brackets......Pull straight up on the backrest it just hangs on the brackets. I just did mine this winter.

I got all of them removed except the one behind the shifter/throttle. Does the front plate pop off the shifter or do I need to remove it ?

Did the rear seat back just pull straight up like was previously posted by someone else? Thanks!

Yes, but I had one screw by the doorway up underneath and two screws on the left side inside the storage compartment
