Default Saving on haul out fees

I know times are tough but this is a little extreme.

I pulled these photos off another site. According to the thread -

"This was in the "S" cut in Long Island,NY (Great South Bay). Just south of Copiague/Lindenhurst and just north of Gilgo/Cedar beach."

Anyone know this boat?

Dan

Wow, what a shame. I'm very curious about the circumstances for such a grounding.

SP,
I thought yours was a Bayliner? What are you doing all the way over in NY????
Just throwing a jab. You can punch me when I see you at our party.

Hope you and Marsha are doing well and Wild Whim is making good progress.

We're well....the boat is still a question mark at this point in time.

Not a big deal, just changing the drive oil in that starboard side.

Least they had some fenders deployed to thwart further damage.

When I was a kid in Spain we used to drive right up on the beach like that. The further you could get up the better then get hooked to a winch. Thing is, I don't see any sand...
