Unhappy Sad Day

It's a sad day having postponed the inevitable, the Judy Ann ll has been pulled from her summer home in Onset, ma. and is now berthed in her 6 month hibernation home at the end of the driveway. Today she will be drained of her fluids and fresh new "winter blood" infused into her systems. After a complete cleaning inside and out, all her creature comforts removed (cushions, electronics, misc.) to the safety of a nice warm, dry basement, she will be covered and put to sleep for what to me will seem like an eternity. I'm not sure what is worse, having her at home in the driveway where I am reminded of her daily or having her put away in a storage yard where she would be out of sight out of mind.

I am jealous of those who have extended use of their beloved toys.

Sea you all next year
