For those that have spent the time removing the adhesive pinstripe, how did you do it most efficiently? I was thinking a head gun, then acetone for any remaining glue. Will it peel off for the most part if a heat gun is used? I would rather not use a razor blade, but looking for efficiency success techniques from my fellow diy' ers
Heat gun and patience - you shouldn’t use a razor blade. This product will also help. Chuck it in a drill and you’ll find the right technique with a little practice. Just be careful not to leave it in one spot or too high of a speed or it can burn the fiberglass. But it’s actually really forgiving. Best if you do it before compounding.
