Default newbie.... got a question about my trailer

i have a 2007 1800sr3 and i barely have a bout 1500 miles on the trailer and the outer thread of the the tires are all worn out....should it do that???? i dont put anything inside my boat other than a couble wakeboards. should i talk to my dealer....i just rather ask on here than to travel 100 miles 1st.... any advice would be great thanks

Trailer tyres generally last for years... I have only ever replaced due to age, not lack of tread.

Speak with your dealer, or a local trailer place. sounds like you have alignment issues - should be an easy fix and save you alot of money on new tyres and gas in the future!

that shouldn't happen...you should probably get the alignment checked....

also check to make sure the tires are properly inflated...

I just bought a 2000 1900SR and the guy I bought it from told me he has that problem. It is an aftermarket trailer but he took some long trips on it. What he told me was you can rotate the tires about half way through and that will extend the life significantly. He also told me that when it comes time to get new tires it's a lot cheaper if you just pull the wheels yourself and take them in to a store and have the tires changed back out. Hope this helps!
