Default New owner 2100sr gauge question

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and new to my boat. I purchased a 2000 2100sr recently and have a question about the gauges. Do the gauges light up for night time use? I messed with the switches and didn't see any lights come on. Is there a bulb that could be blown? I also checked fuses which were all good. I might just not know how to turn them on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Corey first welcome aboard. To answer your question ....gauge lights are on all the time. There is no on/off switch for your lights. If you can get underneath your dash and make sure you don't have any bulbs burnt out that helps.

Hope this helps
Roger

My gauge lights come on with the navigation lights. there should be a bulb for each gauge. I would pull the dash cover and check the wiring.. then see if it's connected to the navigation switch or wires.
may have just lost connection there.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the boat.

If there is not a switch then they are typicall on all the time. They are not bright so not to impact your night vision, this makes it hard to tell if they are working in daylight.

Corey that would of been my second answer with the light switch to turn everything on. Again one or the other you should have gauge lights.

Thanks everyone for your help. I went out this morning and turned on the nav lights and sure enough the gauge lights all lit up! I must have missed it the first time because I tested the nav lights during the day so it was nearly impossible to notice the instrument panel light up. Thanks again.

This is interesting that Brunswick would vary in how they implemented this. My gauge lights have a specific 'instrument ' switch separate from the navigation lights.
