Question New Member in need of some help

Hi, I have owned a maxum 2300 SC for a few years now, great boat. I believe it was made around the year 2000. It has full camping covers ( recently replaced) but the frame work is still the original. I have just recently dropped one of the sections overboard! It’s the section that allows the main rear frame to slot in to each side. I would be graceful if anyone could advise of anywhere where I could buy a replacement please. The missing section is shown in the attached picture.

Thanks in advance for any help

I don't know that boat but I think that pc. would have been one long tube, not pieced together at that point.
Try any shop that does boat covers and such.

Welcome aboard

The last two digits of the HIN is the year. Most canvas shops can make up framing.

Wow, thanks all for the replies, thought I may get a couple of smart comments about being an idiot and dropping it over board, but I thought it would be worth a try. Glad I joined here as some very helpful advice, especially the HIN number, thanks all. Appreciate it

We all have made mistakes and done dumb things.
What I like about this site is everyone try's to help and not criticize others mistakes, and give positive feedback.

7/8" (inch, I have no idea of the metric conversion for that size) stainless tubing. You should be able to find that at most ship chandlers. I agree with Mike, that was never intended to be two pieces. The idiot that installed it that way is what caused you to drop it, not you.
