Default Navigation-Anchor Light Switch

I just purchased a 2004 2200 SR3 and the navigation-anchor light switch is broken.

It says Carling 0327 on it and it has 9 tabs, 8 of which have wires attached. I have searched the web and I have not been able to find that exact switch.

I did find one on Toro's web site, Mfg # LT2561-603-012, that says it has 8 tabs.

Any suggestions on getting an exact replacement switch? If not, do you think the 8 tab Carling switch would work?

Thanks for the link.

I looked but it shows they only have toggles with up to six tabs/terminals and the switches are not lighted like mine are.

The FRONT of the switch would have been better. One can easily imagine what 8 vs 9 spade connectors looks like.

Also is it a light switch. Here is there site where you can enter what you want to get the current part number. Note (on) in parentheses means momentary. While no parentheses “on” is always on. I’m assuming you want on-off-on where on is anchor light and the other on is navigation.

For a nav/anchor light you will need a double-pole double-throw switch without momentary contact. Then determine how many lamps your switch has. Options are none, one (which could be wired to indicate on/off or to illuminate the switch indicator) or two in which one is the indicator that comes on with dash lights and another illuminates when the switch is on. I think these lamp options are the reason you have additional leads. Also, if you are reusing the cover, do yourself a favor and buy the cover removal tool for just a few dollars.

Thank you for all the assistance.

Upon further investigation, the switch only has 8 prongs/connections, one of the connectors has a piggyback prong that looked like it was part of the switch.

I have ordered a Carling toggle switch from Zoro, DPDT, 8 Connections, On/Off/On, 3/4 hp, 20A at 12V, Mfr # LT2561-603-012, Zoro # G4290982.

I'll let you know if it works.
