Default Maxum contact info required

I have been having problems with my dealer since I purchased my boat 3 months ago. Not one dealing has gone smooth with them. The latest is for an issue that was reported a week after I took delivery of the boat. I waited close to 8 weeks for warranty approval, another 3 weeks to get the boat in for the work, only to get a call that there was no warranty for the problem, which was preathorized. The boat was in storage already, a hundred miles from the dealer and has been towed back there, not repaired, only to find out from the dealer that there was indeed warranty, and I can bring the boat back in the spring, again. I Have sent an email out lining all my dealings with this dealership to the general Brunswick address and the dealer.I have also sent A copy by fax to the number that the customer service reply card was sent to. I am looking for an email address for Maxum customer service if available.

I have received a reply from the email sent to Brunswick's general email address. My email was forwarded to the service manager at US Marine/Maxum. He has forwarded my concerns to the Director of Operations at the corporate office for my dealer. It will be interesting to see what comes of this. I was impressed that I did receive a reply from someone at Maxum and not a standard automated response.

Good luck. I hope it all works out. We forget how nice it is when we have a good dealer in town.

No reply from the dealer or their corporate office. I did however get ahold of my sales person who was on holiday. He gave me a copy of the warranty authorization as back up to present to the service department next spring as they are shutting down for the winter.

As a fellow Maxum owner from Alberta, I know exactly what you are talking about. The trouble is that dealer sells a very large number of Maxums throughout western Canada. Brunswick likes them.
