looks like a nice unit..however go to home depot or lowes and look for a charcol filter system there...doesn't cost much and can be refilled dirt cheap....works the same for half the price...


i actually went to home depot and couldn't find what I was thinking of but did another search and found this by sealand...

this is what I have on my boat and we don't smell anything...it's inline vent filter..works great so far..

I'm in the process of building my own vent line filter and will post pictures when done. I think the cost will be substantially less than anything sold retail. I hope to have the proto-type done by the end of the month.

Put the Big Orange on my 2900 Se this year works like a charm and the filter material change takes around 1 minute, very simple. Install was easy, it is made to sit on the top edge of the waste tank and you use 2 self tapping screws and silicone to fasten it to the tank. Push a tab and the canister slides out to change the charcoal pellets. Price for the unit was around $125.00 Cdn and a refill bag of pellets is $20.00
