Default LCD TV cable connection?

I recently purchased the 2900SE. It has a small LCD TV mounted to a cabinet door with the DVD player inside. I can not find any access to a cable input connection. I would have thought it would have been hard wired from the factory with an easy connection towards the stern. I do not show any details in the manuel. Does anyone know if I can get access without having to remove the TV from the door and cutting a hole through to access?

That's peculiar... one would certainly think there's got to be some inputs on the cabinet/chassis SOMEWHERE! Hard to believe Maxum would have a proprietary-built combo TV-DVD player JUST for their boat, as they probably only manufactured a thousand of them needing TVs that year. You might have to remove the TV from it's bracket/cabinet door to expose any hookups, or get the brand and model # from it and google it for an owner's manual perhaps.

Without seeing it myself it's impossible to guess, perhaps if you shot a short video of it... "scanning" it all around then posting it here it might help.

bout the only connection would be in the trunk on the stern swimstep......

so...check back there where your shore power would connect..there should be a unit back there to connect to the tv...however, with that being said...you don't tell us what yr it is...the newer boats probably had the connection...older maxums just had a tv/dcd combo installed.....
