Default Lake Michigan Worthy?

Hi everyone. New to the blog. I’m poking around the late ninetys 41 sca and scr for use on Lake Michigan, including crossings. These are all twin diesels and with a lower dead rise and the skeg setup, I’m not sure how either would handle the chop. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jimbo

That would be fine. I've been caught in 6 foot seas in my Maxum 2800. You don't want to be there, but it is doable. You'll be choosing your days on crossings.

I've seen people cross Lake Michigan in 16ft open bows. Not that I would do it or recommend it but it can be done. Pick your days carefully and don't feel pressured to do it.
