You don't have to go clear to Lake Havasu to see that, Steve... Coeur D' Alene Lake (where we moor) is crawling with these go-fast boats. Across from our marina is Carlin Bay Resort, basically a biker-bar that the local Sheriff calls "Silicon Bay" from all the scantily-clad women hanging around the boats. The amount of people... it's a venerable meat-market for sure. Occasionally we cruise on over on the JetSki just to see the crazy people... my two young boys are amazed at the mass hysteria. Thankfully we moor 1/2 mile away and don't have to put up with the loud noise, music and people---man do I sound old!

130mph is pretty darned fast on the water, though... impressive.
