Default How NOT to return from a July 4th celebration!!

Went to Lake Powell for the 4th. We went up near the dam and watched the fireworks. After the show we were motoring back to the marina at just slightly above a no wake speed and saw many people come racing by us on plane. We got all tied up in our slip for the night and were enjoying a scotch on the swim deck when the marina exploded with Sheriff and Ranger boats racing out with full light and sirens followed soon by a med evac chopper.

The next morning as we were heading out to run up lake to camp we figured out what all the activity was about. Guy was obviously on plane and went to the WRONG side of the marker.....

Also as shot of the new 2500 SE in Last Chance Bay... It's going to work out just fine for us. 5 days on the lake with no worries.

Rock Docking is free but I'm sure the salvage is not cheap.

I can assure you salvage is NOT cheap. The owner should make sure they work this out with their insurance company ahead of time, and not simply agree to have any tow company 'drag' him of the bar without understanding Salcon 89 and what his insurance will cover. he might get lucky and have insurance work it out so as not to call it a Salvage, ahead of time.
