Your going to be paying big bucks. You are boating in an area where theft is king and everything else that goes with it. I don't think you want tp pay $1200.00 a year? God almighty!

Find out the value of the boat and insure it for that amount plus your accessaries that you have inside it plus trailer. Shop around! Take a safe boating course or you even join the United States Power Squadron and depending how many courses you have passed, they have their own insurance and you can save some money that way. Go to www.usps.org to find out more if interested.

I have a 2001 Maxum 3000SCR with a trailer. I pay around $450.00 a year with a $500.00 deductible. That is also on a $50,000.00 value. Erie Insurance.

You will get a better deal if you wrap your boating insurance with your home and auto.

Hope this helps and good luck.......

The premium you pay depends on many factors, not the least of which is the "type" of coverage you are buying as well as the "limits". Like Roger said above, best bet is try to have all of your coverages with one company. That way you can also then add your boat to the "umbrella" policy as well. Good luck.

it depends on a ton of things....drivers record/credit report....etc...contact your home owners ins...have them do a run up......if you take a boat safety course..that will help about 10% off....
there is just too many factors to weigh in to make a guess on what you would pay comparatively speaking to me or someone else...
