Default helpful hints good. bad & scarry

Hi Gang
Our family owns a 98 scr3000. Love it.
We use it a lot every season & here is a few things I have learned.

good- burgers 30 sec before feeding to the crew float.
bad- snubbers sink like a stone
scary - a persistant squeaky serpentine belt should be taken very seriously. I looked for bent brackets. I found the lower alternator bracket broken in two & the upper alternator bracket was cracked as well. what if it spit the belt while I was in high seas. loss of an engine in big water can be disasterous. (check your brackets carefully!)
cheers

Not sure I am following you.

30 seconds to feed the crew? Sounds like indigestion.

Snubbers sink like a stone? Lots of things do. Not sure what the message is here.

Noises are always am indicator of an issue.

Not meant to insult I truly do not understand your message. Maybe it's just me and others are in tune with you. The scary one is helpful as to something unusual to look for.

Well that sucks I have not had a good burger in 2 years, living in an apartment until the divorce is over has kept me from a grill. Timer never replied but I did not intend to offend him in any way.

Peace to all.
