Elusive Manual

After purchasing our boat, we discovered that there was not a single manual to be found with the previous owners. Being one of those people who actually read manuals, I found and am in possession of the 2600 SE Sort Cruiser - Owner's Manual Supplement, however in a number of locations in this manual it makes reference to "The Cruiser & Yacht Owner's Manual". Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Is it even necessary despite the dire warning of the second bulleted point on page 1 of the supplement stating - "Before using your boat, study this Owner's Manual Supplement, the Cruiser & Yacht Owner's Manual (the item in question), and all engine and accessory literature carefully".

I have not been able to find this rare unicorn of MAXUM material. Does it really exist? Do I really need it?

Under Documents of this site are Maxum and Mercruiser manuals. In my opinion the Maxum manuals are not very helpful but the Mercruiser ones are excellent. Is this your first boat?

You can find the manuals in PDF online by searching the make and model of the item (e.g. stove, fridge, battery charger). The engine and outdrive service manuals are allways purchased separately.
