Default Dead Rise

why should i get excited about my dead rise?

I was looking thru the original brochure, and a 3300 scr had a 17, 2800 scr has a 21, and the 2700scr and down have 16 dead rise.

i guess this is the shape of the V-hull.

the shape of the stern dead rise tells you basically how the boat will ride in the water...the steeper the dead rise the better it will cut thru the water and the ride will not be as rough or choppy.....the flatter the hull is in the stern the better it will plane but it will ride rougher than a deeper vee at the stern in rough water...

so, for old boat technology, like the 50's and 60's, what did they built those boats to?

like the old chris crafts, that don't appear to go on plan at all...
