Default Cup holders in swim platform

Hi all,

I have a 06 2000 SR3, I was thinking about cutting two holes in the swim platform to install cup holders. Has anyone ever done this. We have a couple of great spots where we all tie up and walk around the sand bar talking to the other boaters. Last year labor day there were 300 boats there! It was a great time.

Default Re: Cup holders in swim platform

I don't think I would want to cut holes in my swim platform because I use it for too many things including getting on and off the boat, mounting the dink, propane bottle, finders, etc. Of course you probably have a different model and not the requirements I have with mine. Having holes in the swim platform might defer some future buyer when you get two foot itis as we all do. I might suggest you attach cup holders to your transom that can be folded up out of the way.
