Hi guys just me again, I was thinking of replacing the standard helm seat in my 3200scr with a captains seat with a fillip up bolster and was just wondering if anyone has done it or if they even make one that would look right, like it belonged there.
As I am starting to get older the constant standing without being able to lean back is starting to take its toll on my knees. Ay thoughts.
When I'm in the Ct. river I tend to stand a lot due to stuff that comes down the river and I like to have a good view off everything. It's not so bad when I get out into the sound but I've got a little distance to get down there. Plus being a little bigger of a guy I tend to stand back further so a seat with a flip up I think would work great. I just don't want to take away from the look of the boat and make it look Jerry rigged.
Where do you keep yours Shrew, always looking to get together with other fellow Maxum owners and look at their modifications and pick their brains for ideas to improve mine.
If there is enough room then I would replace with an after market. It will be tough to match color, unless you get the new seat and the entire cockpit re-upholstered.
