Default Captains Seat

I am the proud owner of a 2300sc. Has anyone raised up the captains chair for better visibility? Also I'd like to be able to stand right behind the helm. any input would be greatly appreciated before I start taking things apart and pass the point of no return.

Yes, we had a member a number of years ago that designed and built a scissor lift for an adjustable height seat. They make after market seats with flip upbolters for standing and leaning.

Raising the seat will start to make it awkward to reach the wheel from the seated position. You will have to bend forward. That is just my opinion. A bolster for standing would a better option.

I used to stand when running my 2800 for years. It felt awkward to sit. If you sit for a while you do get used to it.
