I am looking to buy a 2008 2500se whixh has a camper cover..
I asked if there was a cocpit cover and he told me you leave the camper top up while underway and while at dock.
I would think you remove the back part while underway and for docking so you can tie up.
Any suggestions?

welcome to the zoo....if you have a full up camper cover....you can run with it in the full up position..but if you want to go commando and drop the top..you should have a bimini cover that wraps the top to the top bows......
now if your docked...you can have a custom tanau cover built and it covers the cockpit without being up on the bows........we run with our tops up all the time and it's ok....you can also leave them up when at the docks.....keeps the inside cockpit nice and clean...

hai john,

i only use the camper when i'm on the boat....when she lies in the harbour she has a cover on the top.....when you leave the camper on your boat you will have to buy a new one with in a few years.....the sun has a bad influance on the windows of the camper cover.....
