Default Cabinet/Closet button latch replacement

Finally had one go bad, and would like to have a replacement as close to original as possible. The parts manual shows the part as - part number 72763, KNOB, GOLD PUSH BUTTON

This is the closest I've been able to find. Anyone have a more exact match?

Not sure about your link but I can say these are NOT a drop in replacement ...

Sea Dog 224300-1 Push-Button Rim... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FVKG2E...p_mob_ap_share

I bought these to convert from brass to silver, hoping for a quick drop in replacement. They were not. However I was able to disassemble the old mechanisms and clean them and relubricate them with some silicone oil and now they work great. Luckily the knob and ring from the new ones were compatible so I got the result... just took a little more effort.

If yours are just sticking like mine were, try rebuilding them. Might work for you.

Just replace them all. I went from from brass to silver on my 3300 SCR. I bought silver ones from Amazon. They were very easy to swap.

Yep, if you can't find one that matches in color or shape, then find a bunch that match in size and replace them all. If it's in an isolated place (like the aft-cabin) you can get away with only replacing those in that space.

Default Not sticking ... not catching at all

This is the only one that's not functioning, but certainly would like more 'just in case'.

Not sure if lubricating mine will help - mine won't 'catch' ... I can push the button in, but the locking mechanism doesn't 'grab' what ever it's designed to grab internally. Looking at the materials, the internals look like plastic, so I figure they've simply worn from use.
