Default Buss heater 2400scr

I would like to install a buss heater in my 2400, I already have the closed cooling system, but am looking for and pics/info on how and where to install the heater and run the ducting and switches? Does the heater get installed in the bilge and then hot air ducted to the cabin above the fridge, or is the heater actually installed in the cabin above the fridge and the heater lines ran back to the engine. Are there any other duct outlets other than above the fridge? Thanks..any info/pics would be appreciated.

Chris

No, it isn't the water heater, but it uses the same hot engine coolant that goes through the water heater, but it is also plumbed through a small heater core that has a fan. The hot air is then ducted into the cabin for heat. From the pics I've seen online, it looks as though the heat duct and fan switches are on the wall above the fridge, but i'm not sure as to were the heater is mounted?

Yes the heater is in the cabin not the engine bay there 2 water lines from the engine to the fridge area and 2 hot air vents one in lower bunk and one buy the fridge with a 3 speed switch it work really well as long as the engine temp is up.I can't see the heater but it would be the same as a car and truck type heater good luck

I installed a 4 vent Hydronic heater from Heatercraft.
I needed to install the main body in the compartment in the mid-berth behind the panel on the starboard side.

I removed the panels pretty much all around the area.

Since I need to clean the Helm's drink holder/junk collection panel on the cockpit starboard gunnel, I removed it to provide light down below.

I then mounted the heater closer to the aft bulkhead because I want to get as much room as possible for the heater vent hose to bend and be routed wherever(it's very close the panel to be replaced).

Top view through cup holder/helm catch all~O~rific.
You can see where the brackets are that the panel attaches to and how little clearance the vent hoses have. It'll be fine but it's tight.
I was also considering leaving enough room in this same otherwise deadspace for an inverter.

The pass through hole from the engine compartment
