Default Broken Cowell

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and I am looking for some help.

I have a Maxum 2400SE 2006 and whilst away on holiday this year, moored onto the fuel pontoon, some lovely sports boat decided to speed past causing my boat to bump the pontoon and break the engine cowel on the port side. I am told the part is no longer available. Does anyone know of any reliable sources for second hand parts?

Welcome aboard

You can try GreatLakesSkipper as they bought up surplus materials when the Maxum line was shut down in 2009.

I forgot to mention you try Googling for salvage boats as with the Hurricanes that hit Texas and Florida plenty of boats were totaled.

Thank you!!. Luckily I have found a boat repair company and they can mould me a new one and colour match it to the old one my Maxum is 10 years old so this was one of my concerns. My heart goes out to all those poor people in the recent Hurricanes

This would be my next option if you could not find one however this is probably the easiest. Post some before and after pictures of the work.
